The Memorandum provides for Etihad Airways to support Montenegro Airlines in improving the organizational structure for more efficient management of the company, contributing to an increase in the volume of traffic through the coordination and organization of the flights together with partner companies, as well as to assist in the optimization of the fleet and its more efficient engagement.
It is expected that the strategic commercial cooperation with Etihad Airways will contribute to reducing the expenses of Montenegro Airlines and achieving profitable operations.
The aim is also to increase the number of destinations available for Montenegro Airlines, but also to increase the number of passengers to be transported to Montenegro by the national air carrier, during both summer and winter season, which will significantly speed up and improve the development of tourism in Montenegro.
Montenegro Airlines remains 100% owned by the state of Montenegro.
